It combines lightness of touch with a real confidence in her &#39;wisdom&#39;. And, even though the proposed strategies are redundant in my case, it&#39;s reassuring to know that they&#39;re not just figments of Maria&#39;s imagination but behaviours recognised as legitimate by others of her gender.<br /><br />(Pompous?
